Dear
Niepubliczna Szkoła Podstawowa Adventure
w Ustce Adventure,

Thanks for supporting the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital. We’d like to keep you up-to-date about what’s happening at the Koala Hospital, in conservation, koala research projects and the development of the world’s first wild koala breeding program. Each quarter we produce a newsletter, Gum Tips, which we will send you via email. If you would prefer not to receive future editions of Gum Tips, please click unsubscribe at the bottom of this email.

Please click on the photo below to download the PDF version of the September edition of Gum Tips, the official quarterly newsletter of the Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia.

In this edition, read about our new vet, Dr Phillipa Beale, and Program Manager, Matt Whatman, who recently joined us. We provide updates on major projects but also explain how an interesting collaboration with local schools is enhancing our recycling stations. Following the previous devastating fire season, local indigenous people have come together to form a new voice for koalas, and you can read more about that here. We also include an article on the strategies the Hastings-MacLeay Koala Recovery Partnership is using to restore vital habitat.

Articles include:

• Keeping koalas wild

• Wildlife drinking stations – latest news

• New Hospital project – updates

• Guulagu Koala Custodians

We hope you enjoy reading Gum Tips.
